SAT April 26 THE LEIGHAM ARMS

After a few weeks off for various reason we got back together at the smallest gig in London, the Leigham Arms in Streatham, where we take up the whole of one end of the place and have to play at whisper levels - that at least is always the intention. Curiously we always end the evening at 100mph with the walls shaking. Mo was sure we would find his new blue bass repulsive but in fact we liked it and it sounded excellent. The whole band sounded refreshed and the audience, made up of old friends, faithful followers and new faces, responded with whoops, the purchase of CD's and an offer of a gig at the internationally famous Streatham Festival this summer .. next stop Cannes and the Carnegie Hall ..
